RUSSIAN TRANSLATION
Looking for a Russian translator in Manchester? Or perhaps you need to have a Russian document translated and certified? We are here to help!
We provide professional Russian translation and interpreting services at - what our customers describe as - reasonable prices!
If it's written translation you are after, please email us your document and we'll get back to you with a free quote very quickly. And if you need an interpreter for your event in Manchester, Liverpool or other places in the North West, please give us the dates and we will see if we have a local interpreter available for you.
EXPERIENCED INTERPRETERS
Most people ask us to provide a Russian translator when in fact sometimes they mean an interpreter.
-
What is the difference between a translator and an interpreter? Translators work with documents and interpreters interpret speech, at a meeting, in a conference booth or remotely via an online facility such as Skype or WhatsApp.
-
Do your interpreters have a licence? There is no such thing as an interpreter licence in the UK, but all of our Russian interpreters are trained and registered in professional associations.
-
Can you arrange an interpreter at short notice? We understand that sometimes an interpreter may be required unexpectedly for you: perhaps the foreign delegation didn't bring one with them or an employee in your own company is unable to assist. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

RUSSIAN CONNECTION WITH MANCHESTER
Manchester has quite a few Russian connections:
Manchester Cenotaph has a standalone plaque unveiled on 3 September 2020 which reads: “In honoured memory of the Soviet soldiers who gave their lives liberating Europe, and in recognition of the brave people of the besieged Leningrad”.
Manchester Airport has a memorial plaque in Terminal 3’s Arrivals to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Yury Gagarin's visit to the city. He was invited to the UK by the Union of steel-founders.
Manchester has a Russian Orthodox Church. Intercession of the Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Church is located and open for worship at 64 Clarence Road, Longsight, Manchester, M13 0YE.
IN-HOUSE TRANSLATIONS
Unlike most translation agencies, we specialise in Russian only. Our company works with clients on a wide range of documents from news releases to technical manuals. And the final files are proofread of course, before they are sent to you.
We also provide legal translations and can certify or notarise them. Requirements from official organisations such as the UK Border Agency or professional regulators (GMC, ACCA etc) differ but at Talk Russian we are able to satisfy them all.
