As specialists in providing legal Russian translation services, we can often advise which stamps are needed on official documents, by who and the order they should be stamped in! There is no need to send us your original documents, photos or scans would be sufficient. Translation costs will depend on the number of documents for translation, urgency and whether legalisation (apostille) is required. 

• Certified Translation. This type of professional translation is widely accepted in the UK with a certificate of accuracy, signed by the translator on our letterhead. It is stamped and includes all of our contact details, including registration with the Chartered Institute of Linguists and the Institute of Translation and Interpreting. These are primary criteria for translations to be accepted by UK authorities, such as courts, banks, universities, register offices, ENIC (formerly NARIC) as well as embassies, to name just a few.

• Sworn Translation. The translator swears an affidavit before a solicitor or commissioner for oaths that the translation is a true and accurate representation of the original. In this case the certificate of accuracy will also have the signature and stamp of the legal professional. It's required if the translation needs to have an apostille.

• Notarised Translation. We work with notary firms that notarise translations, if an organisation specifically asks for a 'notarised translation'. A notarised translation will bear the signature and stamp of the notary in addition to the translator's statement of truth.
